”Parkour SignWear the City” 2009 is a time based public performance /intervention taking place daily at Union Square, continuing along 14th Street and ending on the top of the High Line in New York City. The project was presented as a dynamic public event with Art in Odd Places, Sign, Festival in New York City from Oct 2 through Oct 28.Using female practitioners of Parkour and other art celebrities to wear her costumes which were made out of A shaped colored paper screen printed with text signs appropriated from official street signs the artist pays tribune to the legendary “parangoles” of Helio Oiticica and the paper fashion of the 60’s.
